The site consisted of 16 interlinked modules on both ground and first floors, with the addition of 21 satellite buildings. As a substantial site with multiple operations co-existing at any one time, the operational risks associated with fire were complex and required an invasive review.
Kiwa Fire Safety Compliance were commissioned to provide an invasive assessment to develop a risk classification with respect to life safety from fire.
In order to help the client achieve compliance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, we made detailed inspections of the sites in conjunction with critical reviews of existing documentation and other data in order to compile a fully functional risk profile with remedial recommendations
Kiwa Fire Safety Compliance were able to assist the client in recommending risk mitigation measures associated with their site in a concise and accessible format.
By working closely with the client, elements of further investigation were afforded which assisted in satisfying both inspector and client queries.
