Passive Fire Protection Training

As a leading independent fire safety consultancy, practicing for over 30 years, we have the knowledge and experience to provide standard and tailored training courses that are insightful and accredited, covering all aspects of fire protection.

The Kiwa Fire Safety Compliance Training portfolio is a comprehensive offering for organisations likely to be involved in Fire Safety, such as Installers, Manufacturers and Specifiers Risk Assessors, Fire Officers, Architects, Designers, Building Control, Contractors, Site Managers/Supervisors and Specialist Installers.

The fire performance of a system on-site is dependent on the correct installation as well as selecting appropriate products. It is therefore essential that those involved have an understanding of the requirements and are aware of the consequences of unsuitable products and an incorrect or inadequate installation.

Alternatively, save costs with our inhouse courses that can be tailored to your organisation’s specific needs when sending 6 people or more.

The training is an excellent way of gaining the background knowledge for undertaking site installations and maintenance of passive fire protection systems.

The courses we deliver are excellent value and competitively priced, and in many instances can be tailored to your specific requirements. Above all the courses that Kiwa provide are thorough, professionally delivered and orientated to you.

The areas of passive fire training covered are as follows:

* Core Module

The core module for passive fire protection considers Building Codes in the UK and Europe, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (FSO) and the fire tests undertaken on the products and systems to be installed.

This module forms the 1st section of all our courses and completion is strongly recommended before commencing with the product modules.
