Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) Level 3 Certificate in Passive Fire Protection is comprised of:
6 non-consecutive training days
1 examination (booked separately via the Institution of Fire Engineers)

The training is delivered in a series of 1-day lectures ranged over three weeks and offers a foundation in fire safety and fire science as well as units on different forms of passive fire protection.
There will be an optional Exam Practice Day (Date TBC). This is subject to additional cost not covered by the course fees and can be booked at any time through out the course.
Course Overview:
This high level course offers a foundation in fire safety and fire science as well as units on the full range of passive fire protection systems. This is the knowledge that will equip delegates to study towards the IFE Level 3 certificate in passive fire protection qualification.
It provides units that focus upon a selected range of Passive Fire Protection Systems as well as an understanding of Active Systems, Regulatory Guidance, CDM, CE Marking and Codes of Practice.
